Most of them are SSRIs i.e. selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. These maintain the level of neurotransmitters in the body. Serotonin, dopamine and nor epinephrine levels in the body decrease and cause abnormally high or low levels of activityand maintains sound mental health. If left undiagnosed and untreated, these mental disorders can assume massive proportions and then it can create embarrassing situations.
